Girl, Date the Good Guy ™ | Toxic Relationship, Breakup, Heartbreak, Broken Heart, Red Flags

So... you're fresh out of a breakup, sitting in heartbreak, healing from a broken heart after a toxic relationship, or finally seeing the red flags you missed along the way.

Or maybe you've finally found a good man, but you can't stop crashing out because safe love feels scary.

If you're asking yourself, "Where do I go from here?"

Sis... welcome to your Holy Rescue.

Girl, Date the Good Guy is a Christian podcast for women healing after heartbreak who are ready to stop the bleeding, surrender the past, draw closer to God, renew their minds through His truth, and step into Holy Alignment so they can recognize, receive, and build Holy Love... this time, with God.

Hi, I'm Emily Jordan. I have mud on my boots, scars on my heart, and I know what it feels like to be in the trenches.

I've stood where you're standing - the heartbreak, the confusion, the overthinking, the disappointment, and the moments you wonder if you will ever feel like yourself again.

But I have also experienced what happens when you finally surrender control, give God the pen, and lay everything at the altar so He can do the healing only He can do.

Because here's the truth: You cannot hold the promise while you’re still bleeding from the past.

Together, we'll heal what heartbreak tried to destroy, evict the squatters in our minds, strengthen our relationship with God, learn to hear His voice, sharpen our discernment, break unhealthy cycles, and date from healing—not our wounds.

Are you ready for your Holy Exhale?

Let's heal.

Let's rise.

And when God says it's time...

Let's love.

Welcome to Girl, Date the Good Guy.

Your Holy Rescue begins now. 👑🤍

Have you ever felt like you're walking in circles, repeating the same patterns, facing the same struggles, and wondering why nothing seems to change?
In today's episode, I'm sharing a powerful lesson God has been teaching me during this season of consecration and surrender:
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
Through a personal conversation with my daughter, a question from a coworker, and my own testimony of breaking free from a 20-year cycle, we'll talk about what it really takes to move forward into God's promises.
The truth is, lasting change doesn't come from trying harder—it comes from surrendering our plans, our timelines, and our will to God.
If you've been circling the same mountain for far too long, this episode is for you.
In This Episode, We Discuss:
Why repeating the same actions produces the same results
The spiritual danger of staying stuck in familiar cycles
What God showed me during this season of consecration
The conversation with my daughter that inspired this message
Why surrender is the key to breakthrough
How the Israelites wandered in the wilderness because of unbelief
Learning to release your plans and trust God's direction
Recognizing when God may be redirecting your path
My personal testimony of breaking free from a toxic 20-year cycle
Exciting updates about the future of the podcast and my upcoming book
Key Scriptures
Deuteronomy 2:3"You have circled this mountain long enough. Now turn north."
Jeremiah 29:11"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Proverbs 3:5-6"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Matthew 6:33"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Takeaway
Sometimes the breakthrough you've been praying for is waiting on the other side of surrender.
You don't have to keep circling the same mountain.
God has a plan, a purpose, and a path forward for your life—but it requires trusting Him enough to let go of your own.
Nothing changes if nothing changes. And nothing truly changes until we place God first.
Podcast & Book Update
As I continue this season of consecration, I'll be simplifying my schedule, preparing for the relaunch of the podcast, and finishing the manuscript for my very first book.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support during this exciting season. I can't wait to share what's coming next.
